The scheduled stop at Namsen Salmon Aquarium provided a fascinating
view of large salmon swimming serenely in a large tank. The largest,
Erik, was about 17 kilos! Plenty of information for the fishing-enthustiasts
and the opportunity to enjoy a lovely salmon lunch.
The awesome waterfall outside, which the salmon pass on their way up the
river, has a fall of nearly 35 metres and during prime conditions 1 million
litres of water go past per second!
